Dr Chris Blignaut
Here at Blacks Vets we are very proud of the excellent nursing team which is managed by Group Head of Nursing Kate Slack and her team of Head Nurses; Liz Jefferson at Lye Surgery and Tracey Trippichio at Oldbury Surgery. They are supported by:
- Qualified RVNs recognisable by their green uniforms.
- Student Veterinary Nurses who wear green and white stripes.
- Animal nurses who wear navy uniforms.
All of our nurses, whatever their status, undergo a rigorous training programme involving examinations and qualifications, which enables them to perform their duties to the highest standard.
Our nurses run their own clinics and are able to pass on expert advice and recognise any warning signs that indicate the patient should see a vet for further assessment and treatment. Clinics for weight, senior pets, diabetic, dental, puppy parties and kitten care and of course our nurses own Protect My Pet Club checks which routinely include many of the above. All of our nursing team are passionate about the animals entrusted to them; their passion is your knowledge that, when you leave your beloved pets in their care, each one is treated with the love, compassion and care their own pets would receive. Their job satisfaction is seeing you and your pet happily reunited and well on the road to a speedy recovery.
We couldn’t maintain our excellent standards without our efficient Support Team working hard behind the scenes. Whether manning our busy reception desks, helping you with insurance claims or in overseeing the smooth running of the practice, we take the same positive and proactive approach to helping our clients experience the very best Blacks Vets’ service.
