Gemma was born in the UK, but has lived on 4 different continents, spending the last 15 years in South Africa where she studied veterinary science at the University of Pretoria. Gemma and her engineer husband have four ‘fur babies’. Together, they love trying new food, taking their dogs for a run in nature and snuggling up with their kitties and a good cup of Earl Grey.

Gemma has a strong interest in the medicine side of vet-life. She particularly enjoys diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, dermatology, client education, and patient care.
