Dr Conor Simpson

Veterinary Surgeon

Conor graduated from Nottingham Vet School in 2022 and, worked at a small animal independent practice before joining Blacks.

"After working at a first opinion surgery I have gained good experience with consulting and surgery and am now looking forward to learning a lot more from working in a busy hospital environment. My area of interest at the minute is surgery however I enjoy all veterinary disciplines.

I grew up in Market Harborough, just south of Leicester, but making the move to Birmingham has been exciting. Growing up I’ve always been surrounded by animals and at the moment my family have 2 Border Collies (Guiness and Monty) and 3 cats.

In my spare time I enjoy a multitude of different sports with my favourites being badminton, hockey and karate which I have achieved my black belt in.

I’ve really enjoyed getting to know the team so far at Blacks and I’m keen to bring my knowledge and skills into the team.”
