Catarina Teixeira

Veterinary Surgeon

I'm Catarina, from Portugal, I studied in Porto, did Erasmus in Czech Republic and part of my training in England, before graduating in 2018. I worked in Spain for 5 years, in first opinion, and then moved to the UK, where I have been working OOH and also locuming for the last 2 years.

I recently rescued Lira from a kennel where I used to volunteer, in Portugal, and have just transitioned from foster mum to proud owner of Tao and Umi, two 5 months-old tuxedo kittens.

In my free time I enjoy traveling, connecting with friends and family and looking after my plants and pets. I also enjoy reading and watching documentaries about geopolitics and warfare. I volunteered in Ukraine with World Wide Vets in May and hope to join more volunteering projects in the future, as there's always something we can do to help others and make a change in the world.
