Joao (also known as JT) has been a small animal vet since 2015 and has called the UK home for the last 7 years.

"I consider myself an all-rounded GP - I love the opportunity to build strong bonds with clients in consults and work up my medical cases, but I also enjoy my time in theatre and everything in between. I also have a keen interest in behavioural medicine and have founded my company The Mind Vet in 2021, having seen referral cases from all over the country since.

I'm married to my University crush and a fellow vet, and we share our home with our 3 furries - Panda, the mischievous cat, Marmalade, the world’s sweetest dog and Puffin, the cutest kitten. Having recently welcomed our first baby into this world, life is always pretty busy, so any spare time is currently dedicated to the little one."
