We are home
We met our family yesterday and came to our new home… And got our new names! We are Bert and Freda.
We love our new home, especially our bed in our crate. Our family were ready with tricks up their sleeve to introduce us to the crate but we just moved straight in! We even put ourselves to bed in it last night. The hormone diffuser next to it smells lovely, which is good as the blankets with mum’s scent make a most excellent tug of war and won’t last long.
We are sorting out who is who, names, humans, and Bert regarding smaller Freda as mom trying to nurse and get food from Freda’s mouth!
There is a very interesting large white cat here. She sniffs us and walks off muttering something about short term visitors. Must ask her later about the mysterious portal in the back door. It smells good and moves a bit when we nudge it. Maybe Narnia is beyond?
We got loads of praise for having a fuss with Daddy while he tickled our necks. Not sure what that was all about, but they reckon we are getting protected from big monsters Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus. If they are anything like cardboard boxes I reckon we can handle any of them with our shred-it-and-scatter-it-over-the-floor technique?!
Playing and learning are a tiring business, so we put ourselves to bed last night, and didn’t make a peep all night even when we sneaked out to use the newspaper. Ha! We are luring Mom and Dad into a false sense of security… Let’s see what mischief we can get up to today!
