A few things about Chris… he is South African and spent 28 years growing up in Johannesburg and Pretoria. Give Chris the opportunity and he will talk your ear off about his homeland! Growing up in South Africa, Chris would grab every opportunity he could to visit wildlife parks and spend time in nature watching wild animals in their natural environment. This is where his passion to work with animals was ignited. Chris graduated from the University of Pretoria, Onderstepoort, in 2016 and since then, he has completed a Masters in anaesthesiology through which, he has had the great opportunity to research anaesthetic protocols and work with one of South Africa’s beautiful wild cats, the serval. Chris enjoys research and hopes to pursue this further. Chris is also currently completing a certificate in diagnostic imaging.
Chris enjoys wildlife photography, a lover of the outdoors and feels at home when lost in the ‘bushveld’ (South African for safari). If Chris is not injured, you will find him either running, cycling or swimming. Chris really enjoys diagnostic imaging, medicine and cardiology and has spent the last two years working in the UK, enjoying every bit of his adventure here. Chris is looking forward to meeting you all and getting to know your little furry loved ones.
