A home visit service is available for those situations where clients feel they would rather their pets are seen at home or if travel to the clinic is difficult. Where possible home visits should be booked at least 24 hrs in advance and they are generally completed between 9am and 1pm Monday to Friday. Home visits are not always suitable for urgent cases as more advanced care can be provided in the clinic than can be achieved in a home environment . Euthanasia
When a medical condition or old age leads to pain or distress that can no longer be managed we will find ourselves considering the option of euthanasia. Euthanasia is a very sad and difficult choice to be faced with for our clients. However , when that choice has to be made we will be there to support you through it. Please contact us to discuss your concerns if you feel your pet may require this service and anyone of our staff will talk you through what will happen next . For example you may request that euthanasia is carried out in the clinic or at your home. Some people will prefer to be with their pets in the final moments while others find it too difficult and so on . A consultation with one of our vets will allow us to go through all the options available including cremation services so that you can choose the best combination for you and your pet.
