Dudley is our flagship branch and an RCVS recognised tier 3 hospital. We are all very proud of the practice and the facilities as it allows us to offer our clients and their pets the highest standard of care possible. The Dudley Hospital is headed up by our Clinical Director Brian Hogan and accepts referrals in Cardiology and Surgery from practices in the surrounding area. It serves as a wonderful back up to our other branches, providing 24 hour nursing care for clients requiring hospitalisation and treatment for out of hours emergencies.
Head of Nursing for the whole group is Kate Slack assisted by Ellie Chandler and Tracey Tripicchio. Between them they run a tight ship and make sure all our patients get the treatment and care that they deserve. Because we carry out quite a lot of advanced surgery it’s essential we have expert nurses to monitor their intensive care.
Dudley also houses the Practice Manager’s office run by Valerie Marsh and the Insurance Office run by Lynn, Ruth and Debbie.
The reception side of the practice is under the overall control of Tracy Wood, who has a real passion for customer service. Along with her team she will give you a warm welcome. All of them are there to help you and make your visit as stress free as possible. If you want help or advice or you have a problem or complaint, do please ask Tracy or any member of the team. At BVG we understand that our clients have busy lives too. Our Dudley surgery is open from 8.00am - 7.00pm for clients who wish to call in for advice from reception and nursing staff, to collect treatments and book appointments.
We run an appointment system at all branches to try to reduce waiting times and stress to our pets. Urgent cases are always seen the same day even when appointments are not available. We have no waiting lists for procedures or hospitalisation. All invoices are due for settlement at the end of each consultation.
