Parasite control

No single parasite control is effective against every parasite. At BVG our staff will be happy to offer advice on the best combination of therapies for your pet. Most of the products we use are prescription only and therefore cannot be dispensed to clients not yet under our care.

If you have not had time to register your pet or your pet has not been seen for 12 months we offer free flea and worming checks by appointment at all our branches, Monday to Friday.

In particular we would like to make our clients aware that round worm is transmissible from dogs to people and that the BSAVA currently recommend once monthly treatment to keep the risk to a minimum.
