Silver Award for Best Vet UK 2017

2017 marked the third year of our Dudley Hospital ranking in the top two positions for Best UK Vet. We are incredibly proud of our consistency and ability to stay at the top of this independent award - a record-breaking achievement. Our Lye Surgery came in 4th; very narrowly missing out on the Bronze award and our Quinton, Sedgley and Oldbury branches were also in the Top 11 nationally.

Best Vet UK 2016

We are delighted to be the first ever vets to win the award twice! The top three places nationally ALL went to Blacks Vets. Our Dudley Hospital won the Gold Award, and we also secured second and third place awards for our branches in Lye and Sedgley resulting in a clean sweep of the top gongs! Our Quinton and Oldbury branches were also in the Top 8 nationally.

Best UK Vet 2015

We were very proud to be awarded Best UK Vet in 2015. With over 262 four and five star reviews on its website, our Dudley awHospital topped the review charts of all 3500 UK vets on and Any-UK-Vet directories. Chosen by pet owners themselves, the Best UK Vets Award is a genuine reflection of the excellent client and patient care provided by Blacks Vets.

Practice Manager of the Year

Blacks Practice Manager Val Marsh made history in April 2015 by becoming the first person to win the prestigious Pet Plan Practice manageManager of the Year award TWICE! Val won in 2006, and has served on the judging panel for the award.

Best of the Black Country

Blacks Vets was among several businesses to receive an award at the Express & Star’s Best of the Black Country Awards in November 2008. Blacks Vets scooped the Customer Service Award, a testament to the skill and dedication of our team.

Practice of the Year and
Practice Manager of the Year

Girish Thakral was a Vet of the Year finalist in 2010 and 2008. In 2006 we were awarded the title of UK Practice of the Year while Val Marsh also won Practice Manager of the Year.
